I have used Wise for several years now.
I transfer money from my UK bank to Wise - when the rate suits me, and then all my direct debits are paid from my Wise account.

I went into iberdrola office in lazenia with passport and nie paper. changed in 5 minutes. Hydraqua sent me a direct debit form to fill in, took it to their office at playa flamenca - with passport, nie. again no problem. my urb admin said they can't take it because it's not a spanish bank ...
