Vitamin D and Coronavirus

#1

Post: # 5248Post Sheff_Blade »

Apparently researchers at Trinity College Dublin, and others, have discovered there is a correlation between vitamin D deficiency and COVID-19 mortality rates. Cause or effect? It's strange that you would not consider two of the more badly-affected countries, Spain and Italy, to be suffering from low vitamin d rates because of their high levels of sunshine!

Perhaps Spain should be made to open its borders for us poor, pale, North Europeans to get some rays!

I know there are a lot of possible virus prevention measures being bandied about including getting plenty of sunshine but here is another i found in the euroweekly which is being looked into at various universities including one in barcelona
I use mouthwash myself anyway so i hope there is some credibility to it, anything is worth a try, but i draw the line at drinking disinfectant

More i depth information is now in an article on yahoo news
https://uk.yahoo.com/style/coronavirus- ... 24444.html

Also an interesting reply to the article in the comments section especially after reading a quarter of the deaths in the uk had diabetes

"JF6 hours ago
60 year old type 2 diab male here, and I had all the initial signs off a really bad virus infection. It was so strange and different that I thought I could taste it at the back of my throat, a nasty burning taste I had never experienced before.
So I went on a crazy routine. first I gargled deep in my throat on the strongest mouthwash I could find. I washed my whole body in large amounts of bubble bath soap top to bottom. I applied sanitizer AND Neosporin to inner ear and nostrils and eyes and lips. I took Vit C, D Zinc, Magnesium tablets, which are anti viral. I also ate well. I repeated all the above every 12 hours. I had already had flu and pneumonia jabs a month or two earlier. I also did 14 minutes sun bathing each day.
The result was that I was clear of all virus signs in just 6 days. I highly recommend this regime at the first signs. Stop it dead in its tracks at the outset before it has chance to take hold. The total viral load is what is causing the harm, don't give it a chance".
