Probably will not come as a surprise to many as other countries including the UK have announced similar regulations in the past 24/48 hours.

That would be an expensive fortnight holiday to spend time sitting on a roof terrace , in a garden or around a pool, if they have one , they wouldnt even be able to eat out without flouting the law

There could also be implications for holidaymakers returning home from Spain if there country also has a quarantine period on arrival.

Yes admin you are correct, another two weeks back in the UK confined at home , besides the risk of catching the virus flying and who knows what the cost will be , it will either be extremely expensive or very cheap to encourage flying, but that will depend on the airline , then there is airport customs and security to navigate
Not a very attractive package for would be holidaymakers

Don't say that Graham. I am hanging on to the hope of mid-August.

I've 2 flights booked to Germany , Bee .
The 21st of April was cancelled.
Now , I'm waiting to see if 9th July goes ahead .
Ryanair have said they are hoping to be in the air again, by late June/ early July.
Fingers crossed.

Mr Ryanair was on the TV this morning - hopes to restore 40% of flights from 1 July. Here is a CNN article covering a written statement issued by the airline today.
