Am I out of touch, or is this expensive

We have recently had a rewire in our apartment and consequently had some understandable damage to our gotele on both the ceilings and walls.

We asked for a quote from a decorator, recommended by our electrician, for repairing the damaged gotele and painting the walls and ceiling in white silk paint in our lounge only.
The lounge is 25 sq metres in floor area.

The quote came back as 815€ and would take 2 men 4 days to do it.

We personally think it has been loaded because we live on the top floor and have a good sea view.

Or, am I out of touch with today´s prices.

I can only assume that one man is going to supervise, while the other does the work
