Ingredients

- 900ml double cream
- 2 tbsp icing sugar
- 1 tbsp finely grated orange zest
- 2 x 200g packet chocolate cookies (Maryland style)
- 10 Oreo cookies
- 12 mini meringues
- 37g packet Maltesers
- Chocolate balls
- Fresh mint leaves
- Edible sprinkles
- Icing sugar, for dusting

Method

1. Using an electric mixer, whip 650ml of the cream, icing sugar and orange zest in a bowl until the mixture forms stiff peaks.

2. Spoon approximately 100g of the whipped cream in a plastic food or piping bag and snip off one corner. Pipe a 20cm circle on a flat serving plate or board.

3. Spread the flat side of one cookie with a little of the cream mixture and stand upright on its edge on the cream on the serving plate or board. Spread another cookie with a little cream mixture and place in front of the cookie already on the plate and sandwich together.

4. Continue to sandwich the cookies together with cream, using the piped cream circle as a guide, until all the cookies have been used, to form a wreath shape. Spread the remaining cream mixture over the cookies so they are completely covered. Chill overnight.

5. Whip the remaining cream until it forms soft peaks, then spread over the wreath. Decorate with Oreos, mini meringues, Maltesers, chocolate-covered balls, mint and sprinkles, then dust with icing sugar to serve.
