After Coronavirus - Positive Legacy ?

#1

Post: # 4260Post Carl »

For obvious reasons there is alot of negativity surrounding coronavirus and the affect it has had on family, friends and society. But may be there are some positive things that it may leave as a legacy for the future ?

NHS Staff Shortages

There was an overwhelming response to the request for NHS volunteers and perhaps this may lead to increased interest in people having a career in the NHS.

May be the airline cabin crew members that volunteered, whilst not seeing working for the NHS as glamorous as they are use to, may find the patients are more appreciative than passengers making working for the NHS more rewarding than that of an airline.

Food Waste

Putting the initial panic buying to one side, shopping for essential items. May be people realise they don't need to buy a trolley load of food everytime they go to a supermarket to fill their shelves at home with so much food that it expires before they have had chance to eat it. Perhaps they also recognise the money they are saving as well ?

Queuing

People having to queue in a civilised line several feet apart and not pushing/shoving or queue jumping.
