Chrome to be bannned on all cars and motorbikes from 2024

This is a blow to any purists of vehicles like Harley Davidsons or even those that like to see a bit of chromework on their cars
I think there is nothing classier than seeing a chrome mirror or tailpipe to enhance the look of a vehicle, especially as they are so bland and uniform now, nearly every model looks the same shape
Luckily they are not banning existing vehicles with chromework, that would be a great loss if they did
Just new production vehicles , the reason being the chrome plating process and pollution from it

But just a quick question , it mentions in the article the colour of vehicles and which colours are higher risk for accidents
Then it says to make sure you vehicle details are up to date regarding this
I have an old black Kia that is in very good condition, but wanted to give it a bit of an upgrade regarding its looks, so i stuck a few luminous red stickers around it , only thin strips on the mirrors , door handles , windscreen wipers and wheels and a thicker strip across the rear bumper , i think it enhances safety at night and breaks it up being totally black
I have a few led lights inside the car also to brighten the interior
Would the strips be classed as a change to the vehicle or are they just regarded as add ons that are not necessary to report ?
I havent had an ITV since putting them on and know they can be strict on certain changes , such as tinted windows that are too dark
But i have passed a few police cars and had them in front and behind me and have never been stopped
Has anyone had any experience of doing this and come up against any problems ?

I won't personally B, i have a mechanic that takes it for me and usually fixes any minor problems while there if needed
He might know about this type of thing and advise me before, i just thought i would ask on the forum first
I don't think i will have a problem as i havent stuck anything across a light lens or across the windscreen etc, but you know how they are at the ITV , only the thicker stripes on the bumper might be an issue , they are so well stuck on i would take the paint off it i tried to remove them , the rest would come off easily if they require it
Just going back to the main issue about the chrome , i think its a shame , i have chrome door handles on my old jalopy and chrome front and back grills and insignias which makes it look a bit classy despite its age and i enjoy polishing them up , new cars are going to look even more boring now without this option
