Tax changes for 2024

I just spotted this in the euro weekly

Does this also apply to pensioners who receive less than 15,000 pension per year, combined private and state and have no other income ?
Myself and my wife both fill out tax forms here in spain and this costs us both a fee
If we no longer need to it would be a relief

See nothing about pensioners being included in self employed but you only have to send a tax return when your income exceeds a certain amount for it to become taxable

Still not sure if we need to fill a tax return in here fred, my wife is insisting we do as we own a house here, its her that contacted the company as she is fluent in spanish
I know in the UK you only do if you are self employed
And if i ask the company that sort this out for me i am afraid they will be biased and say i do need to send a return each year even if i dont
If anyone knows if there anyone that i can contact to find out i would be grateful

I remember the advice to residents being file a tax return once even if your income is below the taxable threshold. In that way if you sell your property or whatever you have officially advised Hacienda of your tax status. Do you also need to file a return for prescription purposes?

The AEAT caravan comes to Torrevieja every year to help people with making their tax return.
