Lidl's Implements Coronavirus Measures

#1

Post: # 3418Post Carl »

This information has been passed on to me from someone that has visited Lidl's at La Zenia this morning. The individual arrived at the store about 10 mins before opening time and there was a queue of about 50 people already outside.

Security (unusual for this store) were on the door issuing latex/rubber gloves which had to be put on before entering the store. After the first 20 people in the queue were let into the store, it was then restricted to one person out/one person in.

A couple with a trolley were observed being told by security that only one of them could enter the store to do the shopping, this seems to replicate the measures being implemented by Mercadona which is the subject of another thread on this forum.

Unlike Mercadona, you can still pay with cash or card in Lidl's.
