phone storage message

Hi,
My honor 7 phone keeps giving me a mesage that internal storage is running low. ( 15gb used of 16gb? )
I have a 32gb storage card in it which says it's only 5.2gb used?
ANyone got any ideas?

Internal storage refers to the storage built into the motherboard of the phone you need to move some apps to the memory card
