Friend attacked..

#1

Post: # 20759Post crummy »

A friend and neighbour of mine was attacked outside his house on Saturday. They took some stuff off him and left him bleeding  . Two police cars came, they sent for an ambulance and the paramedics dressed his wounds. Two more police came later in the day to see him.

The good news is a neighbour videoed the attack. :D

We took our friend to the police station to file an official report yesterday (Sunday, the day after) and was told that due to the video evidence the police had caught to culprits. My friend identified the one that attacked him (there were two women, one man).

Well done the neighbour and well done the bobbies.. :D

It was here in Spain.. a few doors away from our place. He is doing fine.. a bit shaken, but getting on with life.. Probably having a better day than the attackers in the Guardia Civil cells... :D

When I saw the title of the thread I feared the worst. Pleased that your friend is making a recovery and that justice should be done.

As was mentioned in another reply most unusual for such a random attack We have always felt safe here in 99 per cent of Spain

I can remember a few years ago that there was a spate of muggings in the Via Park 3 area around Consum and an elderly lady was badly injured. I can't remember now if the muggers were caught, or how she fared, but just another problem at this time of the year I'm afraid.

Yes, Picker, been here 10 years or more and never seen anything like this before. It is very rare. The Guardia said that this team has been working in many areas and they have been wanting to catch them for a while. A video was just what they wanted. :D

Let's hope this saves others from similar attacks.
