The original issues posted in viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1738 seem to be fixed at this time, however, it is always best to be 100% sure for all users.

I have just tested sending and receiving private messages, and it is working. Are you experiencing a problem ?

No name change Fred. I asked brunski (Michael) to update the forum software and resolve an issue with the site's 'padlock', as well as the 'Remember me' on login that was not working.

I am having a senior moment. I can only send a pm from the private messages menu and not from the body of a message - is that correct?

You can send a pm from the private messages menu or alternatively hover your cursor over the speech bubble next to 'Contact:' under the poster of a message and select 'Send private message'.
