How on earth did she expect to get away with that !!
Re: Torrevieja Councillor Takes Part In Video Conference Whilst Driving
Exactly.
I am just wondering as her actions were so blatant whether we should be surprised that none of the other attendees said something to her at the time, or simply they thought it was not their place to say something.

Surely she could have just pulled up somewhere. I can't believe that she was driving at the time ... and with a mask on. !!
Re: Torrevieja Councillor Takes Part In Video Conference Whilst Driving
Why has she got a mask on? If you are alone in your car or with someone else from the same household then you do not need a mask. Or, did she have have someone from another household with her?
Truly a blatant disregard for driving safety.

It's difficult to see in such a small picture but it looks as if she did have a passenger. Is that allowed while video conferencing on council business.

Follow up article in another paper yesterday evening.

It does beg the question whether councillors should be allowed to have a second job. Is their mind fully on delivering their remit for the residents that they serve ? Is not being fully focused on their councillor role leading to errors and oversight in government office ?
