Not a routine quiz hence why it is in the General Discussion section as opposed to the Quizzes section. It is an amazing picture of a historic city from above.

According to google its berlin carl , it actually says the berlin wall but with that being no longer there i think that isnt correct

Belatedly, the answer is Berlin as per jimny1's post and his reference to the Berlin Wall is relevant.

This photo was taken only few days ago, and bearing in mind that the fall of the Berlin Wall was 30 years ago, from this photo you can still see a divide in the city - by the colour of the lightbulbs in the street lights.

West Berlin to the left/East Berlin to the right, where the different colour lightbulbs meet roughly in the centre of the photo is where the Berlin Wall would have been through the city.
