Would imagine there must have been some frustration amongst the La Mata stall holders that markets in the surrounding towns have been largely fully open for more than 2 weeks now.

Possibly , the delay might be down to La Mata being a "street" market , as opposed to the other markets being self contained in their own grounds .

Orihuela is probably a bit more flexible .
