I remember seeing clips of a series a few years ago on the TV channel TLC called 'My Giant Life' which followed the lives of a group of tall women.

Whilst their height had open doors into careers perhaps they had never considered, basically because there height garnered attention of the public or perhaps their height made them beneficial in certain situations (such as basketball), they all seemed to struggle with their private lives because their height was a disadvantage.
