I heard the Fireworks loud and clear.
I think it may have been the La Mata ones , as only the natural park is between La Mata and La Siesta. The sound carries ,- even sometimes , if it's very windy , the sea waves can be heard , also.

Real Madrid also won La Liga on Thursday evening, so some of the fireworks may have been set off by the Madrilenians in celebration of that as opposed to the celebration of the festival of the Virgen del Carmen.
