Looks like this is the first time the tour has visited Torrevieja.

Given the timing of the visit, I wonder if Tesla are targeting the second home owners who will be in Torrevieja at their summer residences. I cannot imagine that Torrevieja would normally appear on such a tour for high end cars.

I wouldn't like to imagine how long it would take to drive out using a totally electric car, I can't see us going down that route until you could get a reliable 600 plus miles from one charge.

I would prefer a nice top of the range mercedes, BMW for the prices Tesla charge for the lowest power battery. Hybrid would be a better option than electric for most people. Besides the Chinese have cornered the market on the battery production and as I understand it we are just mining another precious finite resource for battery production. Complete waste. Wouldn't hydrogen be a better option?

Totally agree Bee, and as we all know as batteries get older they don't hold their charge as long.

Recently spoke to one of my old mechanics back in the UK he's just bought an electric MG took him 12 hours to get from Bexleyheath in London to Blackpool,personally until the infrastructure has improved 10000% i wouldn't have one as a present.

He would probably have been better off and gotten there quicker with an electric bike at a fraction of the cost.
