AEMET Weather Warning - 1 July Extreme High Temperature

Yellow weather warning in place tomorrow from 12:00 to 20:00 for the coast south of Alicante with a maximum temperature of 38ºc.

Well it's been pretty hot and sticky these last few days so a couple of degrees more won't make much difference.

Having said that, although it has been hot, we've only just turned our A/C on.

All of the forecasts I had seen were showing 31/32ºc for tomorrow, so not sure whether AEMET are just being over cautious by issuing a warning for upto 38ºc.

As you say it has been gradually getting hotter over the last few days, and the humidity has been increasing. Had hoped that the rumbles of thunder in Playa Flamenca this afternoon may have cleared the air, but alas they lead to nothing.
