There are to be no waste bins either I think so everyone will have to bring their rubbish home. That is going to be a huge chore for people😊

It will be a huge first as well Bee. ;)

I see on today's Informacion that smoking will be allowed but disposal of cigarrette ends will be in special containers to be provided on the beach. Ya good luck with that one.

Sounds like a right pain in the butt of a system. Imagine having to book a slot to go to the beach or use the community pool. I wonder how that is going to work out in August.

Personally I cannot see the how the system will work, or even if it does will it be fair for everyone ?

I can see multiple family members ringing up under there own names to ensure they secure slots, but then might not even need all the slots they are allocated. You will get people that book a slot and fail to turn up. Then I expect to see some budding entrepreneurs booking slots and selling them to people desperate to get on the beaches.

How do you remove people from a beach when their time slot expires ? Call the police ?

I was thinking that too Admin. Will we see the same families on the beach all day every day. Something else I saw mentioned that the Town Hall will be able to monitor the age profile and time of usage. That kind of screams data protection and profiling. Benidorm will clear their beaches at lunch-time each day for sanitising.

I also read about the monitoring by the Town Hall, but the article I saw failed to explain what the purpose was. You are right about the data protection and profiling issue, people will be asking the obvious question - for what purpose would the Town Hall need this information ?

I would have thought Benidorm's solution for beach time is the simplist to implement and easiest for people to follow, so will be interesting if anyone questions the rationale locally for time slots.
