This came across Facebook yesterday about a couple who appeared on A Place In The Sun, with no interest prior to filming to even purchase a property. They ended up a buying a property they viewed on the programme, regretted it and now sold.

I had seen a video (linked below) this couple posted last year, where he said their episode of A Place In The Sun had yet to be aired. No hints that they were unhappy just 5 months ago !

The Liverpool Echo mentions that their episode was filmed in November 2023. May be there is another story about why it never made it onto TV ?

The seemed to have spent a lot of money on the house but judging by the state of his t-shirt they couldn't afford an iron

Also I can't see how ' earthy pictures on the wall' can ' actually cool the room down on a really hot day' !!!

The way they are speaking it sounds as if they had lived there fo five years , not five months. !!

Also if they didn't plan to buy a house, why go on the program in the first flipping place. Look like freeloaders to me, getting a free holiday at the expense of the TV program, but come unstuck.

I thought they were very practical about the whole thing and were doing a takedown on themselves for getting carried away. They knew they had made a mistake so lay at the loss of the mistake and corrected it. Better than soldering on with a large investment you didn't want and throwing more money at it every year.
