This could have the opposite effect - no one will pick up their dog´s poop because the council are doing it for them!

I blame the police for the stinking mess that parts of Torrevieja are.
They have the power to prosecute people who allow their dogs to foul the pavements.
Of course they can’t catch everybody but those they will catch should get a stinging fine.
The word will soon go round and the deterrent will be there that is lacking at the moment.

Lets hope the vacuum cleaner hasn't got a reverse on it like some domestic cleaners
