The Gravy Train

The Keystone Cops still on the gravy train to the tune of 100K.

These buffoons have so far received 13 million pounds so far and are absolutely no further with their enquiries than when she disappeared in May 2007 .. not one step further yet are still getting funding.

Who's keeps authorising this complete waste of money and why.

Why are the McCann so special.

All paid for by the British taxpayer.

This has all stunk from the day Gordon Brown got involved and still stinks to this day ... ...

'Gordon Brown has personally intervened in the search for missing four-year-old Madeleine McCann after her parents became frustrated by the lack of progress in the police investigation.
After a series of telephone conversations with Madeleine's father, Gerry McCann in recent days, the Chancellor requested assistance from the Foreign Office and the Home Office.'

I bet Mrs Needham didn't get a phone call from the British deputy Prime Minister promising to give them all the help they needed or the use of a private plane to fly off for apersonal audience with the Pope or the services of an agent to appear on the Oprah Winfrey show.

And the list goes on with the special treatment that these pair of scumbags have received over the past 17 years and still do today. This special treatment started the very next day when an army of British officials descended on Praia da Luz, Lagos, Portugal, including family liason officers. Within a few days McCann had made Madeline a ward of court and set up a charity, which would prove to be cash cow that helped them and members of the family financially.

I have nothing but contempt for these two.

But as a footnote, I've never believed the McCanns had anything directly to do with her disappearence or that she was abducted.

I believe she simply woke up and found that her parents were'nt there and walked out of the unlocked door and just a few steps down on the left was the unlocked gate leading out of the community onto the street. She then met her fate, whatever it was.

Her parents of course were out of sight and sound of the apartment having jollies with seven freinds who by the way, have all been sworn to secrecy since that day.

The McCanns made a perfunctory check on the apartment when they felt like it.

If this had happened in the UK I'm sure the McCanns would have been charged with gross negligence under the Chidrens Act 1989 and 2004 and their gross child negligence led to whatever fate awaited four year old Madeline when she went looking for her parents.

Sensible people think that is most unlikely, but after all this time the inept Portugese, German and Metropolitan police are no nearer to solving the crime and so should end the gravy train until any fresh evidence emerges.

The Public Accounts Committee in the Commons should haul in Sir Mark Rowley to justify the Met request for more funds, and Also James Cleverley to explain why the Home office continues to grant it!!

Reminds me of my old boss instructing me to go out and spend cash for the department on a video camera or something.anything.
When asked why he said we had money left in the budget, and if not spent we would not get it next year!
As for the McCanns, they left a child alone, while they went out dining, even if they did, as they say go back every 15mins to check. If this had been Sharon and Eric from some public housing, I feel sure that the full force of the law would have been done on them for abandonment.

I can remember that working for a local authority. You had to spend all the budget for the year, or it would be cut for the next financial year, by the amount you hadn't spent.
I was also asked, why hadn't I taken any sick days, upon reply that I was not ill, I was told that I was sick for the next ten days and clear off home!

As for the McCanns, they left a child alone, Just to be slightly pedantic, they left three children on their own, two of them more at risk than Maddie as they were so young.

I cannot comment further on these two, there is an old thread with what i think , it just makes my blood boil when i hear anything about them, and the money they have made out of their daughters disappearance
I remember reading somewhere that if there is no publicity about the case over a certain time then the case will go cold and be closed
Then they will lose public interest and donations
As was said before how was and is this vast amount of public funds being allowed to be used on such an old historic case ?
They must have some hold over politicians we don't know about !
It wouldnt surprise me if they both get a knighthood for services rendered to the investigation

Thats correct Rspltd. the twins seem have taken a back seat in all of this and have hardly been mentioned.

One theory that seems to make sense in all of this was that it was a tragic overdose that caused her disappearance
It was suggested they could have used sleeping pills on the children to sedate them while they were left alone , as doctors they would have had access to this type od medicine , and this could have caused her death
And to cover up they removed her body as an autopsy would have detected the sedatives
This has far more credability than blaming the paedophile who they have been unable to charge
