I saw an article in today's Informacion that due to the large volume of protective clothing which has now reached the Communidad Valenciana they are looking at allowing a family member be with a dying patient in their last hours. That is the really savage part of this outbreak that people are dying alone with no family member with them.

The news does sound extremely promising from the hospital going forward. There are additional positive cases that are being treated through self isolation at home and in residential care facilities, but are not serious enough to require medical intervention.

Unfortunately, what is still not confirmed is the number of deaths/positive cases that fall under the Torrevieja Health Service. The Mayor of Torrevieja released information about Torrevieja resident numbers, but the health service covers a wider area plus visitors to the area and the internet indicates that there are additional deaths and positive cases.

It is all just so sad Bee, and then even after death the family's cannot provide the funeral they desire for their loved one.

I heard on the grape vine that four million people are returning to work next week. Factories and construction.

Thats correct, the government announced this yesterday, against the advice of the experts who have criticised the government that this is to soon.

Those returning next week are those whos lockdown only began two weeks ago, and they are advised to wear face masks - which the government will hand out at public transport hubs.
