Carlos Mazon (PP) from Alicante is to be the new President of the Generalitat. I wonder will it make a difference to funding and getting stuff done in Alicante Province.

The PP are to retain Education and Health/Social Services. Mr Mazon said he will close the Office of Linguistic Rights created by the Botanic in 2017. There was a lot of anger among parents and students about the requirement to study valencian. I believe valencian would have been spoken traditionally as far south as Guardamar. I would think it is now only spoken in very few areas mostly in the Valencian Province. Howevert is still the official language of the Communidad Valenciana.
