Lidl´s - New Store Restrictions (Coronavirus)

Not sure if this has been rolled out across Spain or is just specific to the store in La Zenia, but apparently this morning new signs were being put on the windows prohibiting wheelchairs, pregnant women and walking sticks/crutches in store.

Additionally, they have removed their baskets and you now have to use a trolley - for which they will provide a token (which you can keep) if you do not have any loose change to put in the slot on the trolley.

Signs are also in place apparently that they will only accept card payments, although they were not enforcing that this morning, so perhaps this is something that will be coming in very shortly.
