For those who think its no worse than flu
For those who think its no worse than flu
For those who think its no eorse than flu.
2019 In total, 2,182 people in the UK have had to be admitted to an intensive care unit (ICU) or high-dependency unit (HDU) because of flu since the start of October. That is more than the 2,045 who needed such care in the same period last year, when the virus was much more prevalent. Flu has killed 195 this winter, though that is down on the 241 deaths that occurred in the same period in 2017-18.
1600+ deaths in uk so far and counting. A single day of covid deaths today is 50% more than the annual flu total in the UK.
Just stay safe and stay inside.

...but you can tell people 'til they are blue in the face...they still don't get it!....

Why would Frankie make comment about you going out. He thinks its ok. Nothing should close, the whole world is wrong. Its all a cruel deception.
This is what he said in a response early on.
In his usual way he had a go at everybody and nobody needs to stay in, no need to close anything, over 70s ate not vulnerable.
Well Frankie boy you were wrong then and you ate wrong now.
Did you forget what you wrote early on in this crisis.
What a fool you are.

It is not a humourous deception it is a cruel deception.
The Government, egged on by "scientific advisors"...who admit they do not know what they are dealing with....are stupidly embarking upon the ruination of the economy and peoples lives, by claiming the over 70s are at such a risk from dying they must take all steps however draconian ,to protect them!
Us over 70s do not want the government to do this, so why are they persisting?
One panicking country after another, following like sheep, all trying to be the one that takes the most severe measures, and each one scared of having the finger pointed, accusing them of not doing enough!
This whole thing has been mishandled from the start, and nobody knows how to backtrack out of it, without losing face.
In six months, people will be querying the death rates, accusing governments of overreacting, and demanding to know why the economy has been needlessly trashed!!
It won't be the fault of the over 70s......
