Restriction On Cash Withdrawls From BBVA ATMs
Restriction On Cash Withdrawls From BBVA ATMs
Apparently restrictions have been put in place limiting withdrawls from BBVA atms to €50 (per day ?), not that there are many places where you could spend it at the moment.
This is quite an interesting decision as I think this type of restriction is normally put in place when there is a run on the bank or fear of a run on the bank, but probably given the situation with coronavirus it is due to problems/potential problems in refilling the atms.

There was signs up at the BBVA branch in Villamartin this morning according to a friend who went to use the ATM. Maybe it is a local issue specific to that branch ?Adey wrote: 20 Mar 2020 18:14Do you have a link to this information, I can't find anything on the net.admin wrote: 20 Mar 2020 12:18 Apparently restrictions have been put in place limiting withdrawls from BBVA atms to €50 (per day ?), not that there are many places where you could spend it at the moment.

Just worth also adding that BBVA are temporarily suspending charging their customers fees when making withdrawls from ATMs of other banks.
