Waited, to be picked up for a coach trip, at the bus stop opposite Mercadona San Luis early yesterday morning. We were also bitten to death, including through our clothes. We counted over 100 bites between us.

They don't bother me but they do my wife, so she never goes out without spraying herself and it seems to do the trick.

My wife also sprayed herself but it's made no difference. Had the odd bite previously but they didn't seem as bad. These are vicious.

I am sure I remember someone on a local Facebook group suggested some type of water from the baby product aisle at Mercadona.

i have never been bitten through clothing before, and so would not have thought to spray underneath my shirt for instance. I was wearing a polo shirt and had nore than 50 bites on my back in a matter of 15 minutes whilst waiting for a pick up.

Are they the new invader species the tiger mozzie I wonder? It's the itch and scratch from the little feckers. What hope is there if they are able to penetrate clothes😟

Hi guys.
There are so many types of mossie sprays and concoctions on the market,
and my better half has tried most of them, and still gets bitten to death,
IMHO i think they either like you or they dont, luckily for me, they dont like me,
I rarely get bitten, but if i am they itch for 2 mins then gone.
I think it could be certain blood groups they prefer ?
