Loss of satellite on 2nd TV

This is a first for me and i could not find this problem when i googled it
I have a 1.9 sat dish that i have 2 tvs connected to, both with the same independent sat boxes
I wanted to watch the football in the bedroom ,i normally watch tv in the living room, as the bedroom tv is a bigger screen
When i turned it from wifi, eg neflix to the sat box i coudn't get a signal on any channel
I checked all the cables etc and found nothing amiss
So i gave up and turned the living room tv on to watch the football and my wife shouted i had a signal in the bedroom
I tried swiching the living room tv off and the bedroom tv lost the signal again
I ended up leaving the living room sat box switched on with the tv off so i could get a signal on the bedroom tv
This has never happened before and i cannot understand how having both tvs on can boost the signal of the other ??
I also noticed i couldnt get any HD channels at all even with both sat boxes on
I do know the signal can be weaker in the summer sometimes
Any ideas on this appreciated
