I thought GK was fine really, but it is a shame where some see red and go into meltdown aggressive mode so easily. They would be so easy to wind up if you were that way, I don't have the time or inclination so I don't bother, nothing to see here! I always try to see things from both sides and most of the time there are merrits to all points of views but one will outweigh the other in general.

Retire1day.. Some people are naturally rude and abusive and can't resist a chance to jump on their soapbox and ruin a sensible thread and change the subject completely.
But that's expat forums for you.

Yeah, that's having a lot of free time! Nice in one way, not having to deal with the daily grind of working! I have not had a day off since August last year other than the bank holidays in the UK. I have a flight booked at the end of April, let's hope that all goes ahead. If the UK government keep to their word I might of had a vaccine by then, I might see if I can get one quicker, take a last minute drop out.. My son's friend's father owns a few GP practices and apparently people don't turn up for their appointments so I might ask my GP to put me down for one of those once the age range comes down. It's like watching paint dry at the moment.

Well, not too good here at the moment.
Covid cases are rising and from tomorrow all bars and restaurants are closed for 14 days except for take away and home delivery and all shops must close at 6pm.
Curfew is from 10 pm to 6 am. !!

Thanks for letting me know, I have not read about the latest situation there and restrictions. Grim isn't it, if I were retired I would love to be in my countryside place in Spain now, lots of land etc. I would be planning ahead with planting things in the next couple of months.

James - pardon my ignorance, but just to clarify, when you say "curfew" I assume you mean that all shops, offices, bars and restaurants are shut and not that everyone has to stay indoors and not venture outside or risk a fine?

All bars and restaurants must close from 21 January for 14 days.
All shops must close by 6pm.
Curfew is from 10pm to 6am means the general public.
I can't put it in simpler terms. ;)
