Help getting S1 registered

I found this information offering help to get your S1 registered online if you cannot get an appointment with the INSS
It has apparently come from the British Consulate and is the latest update
My wife says you cannot get it done online and doesnt believe the update is genuine and that the one stop shop is giving wrong info
Has anyone tried this using the Healthcare team ?

Covid 19 British Consulate S1 information updated November 2020 https://www.gov.uk/guidance/healthcare- ... islands#s1 UPDATE FROM THE BRITISH CONSULATE -1. If you have been issued with an S1 form and are registered for residency, but you have not been able to register the S1 with the INSS (Spanish Social Security), then please email the Healthcare Team at [email protected] They will help you process your application electronically If you have been issued with an S1 form but you have not been able to register for residency, you can use your EHIC to access any necessary care, including prescriptions. I don't know anything about the information above but my wife recently successfully processed her S1 online without any electronic signature or Cl@ve.

Here is how

You just need to upload scanned copies of your documents
Passport
Residecia, both sides
Padron
S1, both pages
NIE

You then get a confirmation email that it has been received, with the promise of a confirmation by mail to your house.

here is the link

https://sede.seg-social.gob.es/wps/port ... -KOcGWM0_Q
Scroll to the bottom and click the No Ceritficate icon

Enter your forename
Surname
Second Surname (just repeat first surname if you have no second one as this is a compulsory field)
Your telephone number
Your Email

Select your Province
Enter your postcode
Select Asistencia Sanitaria

Type "I want to register My S1 from UK - quiero registrar mi S1 de Reino Unido"

Then up load your documents, wait for confirmation Email and then wait for the processing.

I'm told that INSS only send a batch to UK once a month, so it may be a while before it is processed.

I am unable to register my s1 because I am not on the Padron in Torrevieja.
They requested copies of every page of my passport, every page of my husband's passport (he is resident), every page of our escritura, plus a letter from my husband giving me authorisation to live with him in our house.
All these documents were sent on 06 December - but so far I have had no response.

Today, I received confirmation that my S1 has been processed and regisered with INSS, using the online process outlined in post 2 of this thread.
I sent the information, without the need for CL@VE or digital signature, on December 28 2020. I don't think that 28 days, over the Christmas period and with covid restrictions, is bad at all.
