Anyone know where I can buy a reconditioned one for my Ford mondeo. Must have a guarantee.

A very expensive item! Try getting some advice from Roger Taylor at his garage in Los Montesinos. 966 72 15 72

Thank you. I had one fitted from the scrap yard. Lasted two weeks. No guarantee😮

Most good scrapyards give a guarantee and how do you know the convertor has failed

Well , if it wasn't kaput, Freddo ... I don't think Karen would have put her post on here , asking for advice . :D

Freddo was asking Karen how did she know that it had failed, not has it failed.

Yes - but Karen said it had failed , James.
That's good enough for me. :D

It may just need a good clean, or an Italian tune up.

I assume a warning light has come on

Graham you will have to learn to read the words in the post she never said anything about failed the one she got from a scrapyard did not work but it may have been the fault there sensors on cat that fail very rare for the convertor to just go nearly always get a warning
