The massive spike in Covid-19 ?
We've been told it's highly contagious , hence the social distancing and face masks - not to mention a 12 week lockdown.
George Floyd was murdered 3 weeks ago , and in the days / week's following, there have been demonstrations right across the USA, in most major cities .
Also on London, Dublin, in several German cities.
There were thousands upon thousands of protestestors in very close proximity to each other.
Some wore face masks - many didn't.
Given that it takes 10 - 14 days for the virus to kick in ...this massive spike in cases is overdue..
Doesn't look like it's happening?
Any thoughts on this ?
I have mine - I'm sure you can guess what they are .
So far , worldwide (almost 7 billion people) Covid-19 has claimed 400,000 lives.
The "normal" flu worldwide has an annual casualty rate on average of 650,000 lives lost ... no lockdown, no wrecking of countries economies .
Well ! Where is it ?

So imagine how many lives would have been lost without lockdown.Graham Knight wrote: 22 Jun 2020 22:36

And your figures are somewhat out.
So far covid is at 470000 and still rising and thats with lockdowns in many countries. And these deaths are on top of the flu deaths, hence they talk about excess deaths.
Germany is reporting a massive rise in the R rate since easing lockdown. Up to 2.83 now.

Good morning Jimbo.
Firstly , your first point is a fair one , but not even the "experts" know the answer to that one .
Watching on t.v. the demonstrations right across Europe , the U.K. and the US a few weeks ago, it stands to reason , that we should now be seeing a HUGE increase in Covid-19 cases, not the marginal increases that we are now witnessing.
Only a region in Germany is seeing an increase in cases . And that comes from the worker's in a slaughterhouse . Similar to an abbatoir in Wales .
My figure of 400, 000 was from last week.
It can hardly be classed as a massive increase in the spread of the virus .
So , if the thousands upon thousands upon thousands of protesters haven't been infected and brought about a second wave - I wonder why ?
