The objective, he said, is to make the easement area and the perimeter pedestrian flows that are contemplated in the project compatible within those easement areas.

Sala defended that this technical exchange seeks to guarantee that the state infrastructure and the new green area "coexist without interference in the future". The mayor said that the City Council has already known for days that the resolution is favorable and that only the notification needs to be received. "The work will continue shortly," he said.

Regarding the completion deadline, Sala explained that the stoppage time will be automatically added to the work's schedule. According to his calculations, if the initial deadline ended in December 2026, the completion could be moved by about three months, although the City Council will try to make it less.
