I have a krups coffee machine i got from the uk a few years ago and the grinder stopped working
I tried to get it repaired taking it to a shop in torrevieja but they said they had stopped repairing krups machines
So it has been stuck in the cupboard ever since
I had a look on you tube and they now have a video showing how to repair it step by step, and it says it may not be the grinder that is defective but a burned out thermal fuse
I am not really that technical to have a look myself although not bad on household electrics in general
Is there anyone that could recommend somewhere to repair it or even someone that might be technical enough to repair it themselves ?
I will post the link to the video and also the thermal wire reference number

Thermal fuse 99 deg 10A D,60 U6 , i cannot make out the last two digits , i put U6 but could be UO or some kind of electrical ohm figure

Looks like the closest official Krups service centres to Torrevieja are located in Cox and Elche.

Have you considered MediaMarkt ? Their website states they repair products even if you did not purchase the item from them.

Thanks Carl, i would go there but i envisage they will be expensive and am not confident they would be truthful about what is wrong , they could say it is the grinder when it is only the fuse , i would not know , the fuse is a few euros , depending where you buy it from, and a replacement grinder is over 60 euros, again depending where it is purchased
I know the same could happen at a small repair shop , but i think they normally let you know in advance what the problem is whereas the big companies like media mart just go ahead and repair it and bill you regardless .
