Ingredients

- Olive oil spray
- 1 onion, finely sliced
- Pinch of salt
- 8 pork sausages, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 50g gravy granules, mixed with 600ml boiling water
- 100g frozen peas
- 8 frozen potato waffles
- 50g Cheddar, grated

Method

1. Preheat the oven to to 200°C/180°C Fan/Gas Mark 6.

2. Spray an ovenproof saute pan well with oil spray and place over a high heat, then add the onion and salt and cook for 5 minutes or until golden and slightly softened (or you can use a regular frying pan and transfer all the ingredients to an ovenproof dish to bake).

3. Add the sausage pieces and fry for a further 5 minutes, until browned all over, then stir in the gravy and peas.

4. Top with the potato waffles and sprinkle over the grated cheese, then bake for 25 - 30 minutes, until the waffles are cooked. To get an extra-crispy top, place the dish under a hot grill for a couple of minutes before serving.
