I have heard that from 11Th May that in general passengers from the same household can travel in the same car.
This was not info from my hairdresser!.
If you think about it it makes sense otherwise how can we get to all of the places opening up.
Oh to order a nice small beer!

The problem is no one knows when Phase 1 will begin at the moment.

Isn't phase one starting on May 4th, Admin ?

Phase 1 begins on 11 May.

Officially Phase 0 starts on 4 May.

The President said there should be about a two week gap between phase 1,2 and 3 if everything goes to plan.

One daft thing is that on 2 May adults can go for a walk with someone who lives in the same house as them or they can exercise .. on their own.
Yesterday the government decided that over 65's will have to wait until Monday 4 May.!!!

We should know today as to what the conditions are and hopefull we may hear about the car thing.

The last I heard was the gap between each phase would be a minimum of two weeks, and each province had to prove that they had satisfactorily completed a phase before being allowed to move onto the next.

there has been no change in the number of people allowed in a car but it may be announced today
At the present time it is 1 person only unless you are carrying a disabled person or other exceptional circumstances

Can anyone explain the logic of this to me? Two people can live together, sit on the same sofa and watch TV together, sleep in the same bed together (etc!), but cannot travel in the same car?

That's what bewildered me, Sheff_Blade.
No logic whatsoever. I thought Politicians we're supposed to be smart ?
