Warning of Tropical Temperatures for Week-end

There is a warning that tropical temperatures from Sahara are on their way for the week-end. People need to apply the sun cream and slop on the hat. It says the temperatures are akin to beginning of August. Hopefully it will zap the virus. Graham take care on the new bike and bring plenty of water on your "freedom cycle"

I checked 4 weather sites for san miguel de salinas , my closest, and the maximum they are showing is 28 on saturday and the warmest days are saturday and sunday going back to normal monday, so not too extreme here, probably higher inland

The main thing is the UV which is quite high over the week-end. They are giving a 10 for Sunday.

Cheers B, its partly due to the fact there is less pollution now, so the sunlight has no barrier to worry about
We cant win, its a choice of either pollution or UVA
Saying that pollution is destroying the ozone layer long term

The temperature is normally much cooler on the coast.
It's 24C in the shade in my garden at the moment in Torrevieja so it's going to a pleasant day, even later, so nothing to worry about as far as I`m concerned.

Just been out for an hour on my mountain bike .
It was very warm at 9.00am.
On my return st 10.00pm - the heat was much higher.

It's now 30C in the shade in the garden, but I can live with that and thankfully there's no humidity like in August.
I'll be going out for a jog this evening during my time slot.
I do have a home gym with a running machine but you can't beat jogging in the fresh air with the wind blowing through your hair, or in my case, scalp..
