Random fact

50 years ago in one afternoon Dolly Parton wrote "Jolene ' and "I will always love you" - not to shabby me thinks.

I know what you mean. A while ago bands like the Beatles etc would go into a recording studio and turn out 5 or 6 records in a day... now it seems to take a year to record a song with special effects, on video, on locations all over the world.

Life was simpler then methinks..

Just let the music and the words do the business - IMO, but I'm just an oldie!

Dolly's version of " I will always love you" is my absolute favourite song - simple song beautiful lyrics (before Whitney Houston and karreoke singers the world over murdered it) It is in my will under funeral wishes, as the final peice.

In my expererience a little wacky baccy, or something stronger will put the creative side of your brain into top gear.

Some of the worlds greatest songs and music has been written while 'under the influence', also in record time.

Just ask Keith Richards. :D :D

Or any of the Rolling Stoned sorry Stones. I have always loved the Rolling Stones music. I think I will have "Start me Up" as my swansong. I can just see my children making a run for for it screaming " no please mother"
