Happy Easter to all of you.
I imagine most of you are now very well used to being at home and not socialising. It’s strange but it is possible to get used to anything after a while.
We are not in Spain so are still permitted to have a little more freedom than is permitted in Spain. Regardless, you may go out for a walk etc.,but there is no socialising permitted whatsoever. Today, one of our fiends was celebrating his 70th birthday. My sister decided that we and another couple should get together at 6pm for a conference call to celebrate his big day. We all got dressed up and I resurrected banners and all sorts of party aids that my daughter had for my birthday celebration back in a November. At 6pm, all 4 couples joined together to wish him well.we sang and laughed and talked for about an hour. Each couple had their favourite tipple at hand so that was fun. I am going to suggest that you guys do something similar over Easter. If you don’t know how to go about it, google Zoom or ask one of the younger generation. You can’t all be together physically but you can all have quality time together courtesy of apps.
The other thing I did was to go onto Marks and Spencer’s website and I sent flowers to all of my children with a personal message sending their Fathers love and mine too. Free delivery and quite inexpensive.
Our loved ones mean so much to us and the same with good friends.
I hope you all have a pleasant Easter.
Sincere good wishes to all of you.
Continue taking care.
