Just in case anyone has forgotten, clocks go forward an hour at 02:00 tomorrow morning - so one hour less in bed.

Apparently this may be the last year that clocks are changed forward or back as the EU voted to scrap daylight saving time in 2019, and from 2021 it will be up to the individual member states to decide whether they continue the practice.

Can we put them forward to June?

I remember 2000 millennium new year very well, Bee.
All the dire warnings of what was to befall all of us .
In my capacity as an entertainer, I was playing New year's Eve in a hotel in the Scottish Highlands .
Everyone was waiting with baited breath as midnight approached ....nothing !
So, I just got on with business , and played Auld Lang Syne .
