Thanks for the links Bee.

Looks like the beaches in Torrevieja will need attention once again at some point, probably when the country tries to reopen for business. It was only at the end of last month that repairs had been completed following Storm Gloria in January.

Gorgeous. Blue seas, blue skies and pristine beaches Mind you it's lovely here too. blue skies and sunshine but no sea unfortunately. I have just been turning over the flowerbeds. Amazing how all the flowers have suddenly sprouted up. Better days just around the corner. I am thinking another month should break the back on it. Everybody will go mad socialising, shopping and exercising once it's over.

Yes, I agree Fred. The way things are here at the moment, I think the back end of May before we see any improvement ... if any.
Looking at todays statistics, an extension of another 15 days is very likely from 12 April.

I’m aiming and hoping to get back to Torre in September. Although we have other flights booked ,we won’t be taking them unless a vaccine is found. Thanks for putting the webcam link on, I enjoy looking at a very strange and deserted place that is normally buzzing!

Could you put the La Mata webcam on too please?

Unfortunately R the webcam for La Mata beach was removed from the eltiempo site lasy year and has never been reinstated. They just have Los Locos and La Mata Lake now.

The Torrevieja.com webcam is now showing 3 live views of the town. Nobody about tho . Not sure what street it is. Anybody recognise it.
