Just read this awful report.
Spanish soldiers helping to fight the Coronavirus pandemic have found elderly patients in retirement homes abandoned and in some cases , dead in their beds.

An investigation has been launched.

My heart goes out to these poor defenceless souls.
You can google and read for yourselves.

That's horrendous ! Maybe in Madrid rosiemac. They are really struggling there.

I read that in the Informacion. There was a further bit as you read on.As regards those who had died. The homes were following direction from the health authorities not to move any corpses. These were to be removed by specialist teams. Unfortunately due to so many dying there was a long delay in moving the bodies. There was no response regarding abandoned older people who were still alive. I would like to hope there is a back story to that and that it isn't true. Spanish people care for their elderly relatives so it seems a bit out of character.
