Vodka to use as a base ingredient for limoncello

#1

Post: # 40430Post jimny1 »

I am going to make some home made limoncello so i need to buy some cheap vodka , anything too decent is a waste
I have tried looking online at all the supermarkets but cannot find prices
Does anyone know a good place to buy a bottle or two ?
I have Mercadona, Aldi and Lidl as close options
Many thanks

There is a large bodega in Torre on the route in from the ITV/Carrefour end where you can buy Gin, Vodka in a plastic bottle very cheaply.

Just waiting on a large glass jar with a clip lid to put the vodka and lemon peel in to infuse
One arrived yesterday from amazon but the lid was cracked so i am sending back
I saw one in ikea for 4.99 , cheaper than amazon , but need to see if they will send to the shop at la zenia shopping so i can collect from there , murcia is too far
Failing that it will be a trip to the chinese
