Muffy Cid

For the first time in 15 years living in my villa I have now got mould appearing on walls not normally affected, which are also non-white painted.

Just wondered if anyone has tried Muffy Cid on non-white painted walls ?

I Could not see anything on the instructions, but I assume due to its ingredients it will bleach the colour.

...unless you find what has caused the mould, any treatment will surely be only a temporary fix?

You are right Francisco.

I'm thinking at the moment that the mould has probably occurred through lack of venitilation. Combination of humidity/condensation caused by the "gota fria" outside and the heating on inside.

Normally the villa is left largely open to let air circulate but with the quick succession of the storms in recent weeks the villa has not been aired as much as usual, so the walls have not had time to dry out before the next storm hit.

We`ve had a few small spots appear, the first in 14yrs. But just putting it down to the extreme weather. So, just washing it off, and hope we don`t get too much more bad rain.

Make sure you use a bleach in the washing water otherwise you are wasting your time
