Torrevieja yesterday recorded a high of 25.7°C, the second warmest day in December since records began. The previous hottest day was 2 December 1976.

The warm weather is expected to continue today with high temperatures and low humidity, however a yellow warning was activated at midnight through until 16:00 today for high winds with gusts forecast to reach above 70kmh.

Not looking bad for the rest of the week either
