Hi all,
I've managed to set up my wise direct debit account - to pay my bills in spain - but I think the iban may be a problem. It doesn't seem to have the same amount of numbers as a spanish one?
The bic ilooks ok ( whatever ok is ! )Could the iban be a problem?
TIA

The Spanish IBAN includes the full 8 digit individuals account number, the Belgium one does not, that is all

ATM withdrawals over £200 / month 1.75%

Thanks all, that sounds ok. I mainly use my santander ) UK ) debit for withdrawals in spain. it's free if you use sanrander atm's.

Well done dave c on getting it all sorted. It's a lot of work but great satisfaction when you finally get everything transferred. These forums must have sent a lot of customers to Wise.

Think I'm speaking too soon Bee!
I changed bank details in my online account with iberdrola no probs.
Water want more details but should be ok.
Just got word from my urb admin. they say because it's an online account, I'll have to set up a standing order as they can only do direct debits with spanish bank sIt's no problem there though as that's easy enough.
Don't think suma will be a problem. I'm going out shortly and can go to their office.
It's certainly worth a little trouble just to ditch that robbing bank! ( Bankia! or whatever it's latest alias is !)

Just heard that BBVA bank have a free online account - and they transfer all your direct debits and close your old one as well?
Sounds too good to be true......
