Baked One-Pot Banana & Chocolate Pudding

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Serves: 4

If served as four portions, provides 417 cals, 18g fat (of which 11g saturates), 40g sugar and 0.6g salt per portion.

Ingredients

- 3 - 4 ripe bananas, peeled, cored and cut into chunks
- 85g (3oz) softened butter plus extra to butter dish
- 3 tbsp honey
- 100g (3½oz) breadcrumbs, white or brown
- 60g (2oz) demerara sugar
- 100g (3½oz) dark chocolate
- 1l shallow ovenproof dish, buttered

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 190°C/Fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5.

2. Roughly chop the bananas and spread them out evenly in the buttered dish.

3. In a pan, gently melt the butter and honey then quickly remove from the heat. Stir in the breadcrumbs, sugar and chocolate.

4. Quickly and evenly pour the chocolate mixture over the prepared bananas, they should be covered. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and rest for 10 minutes.
