To support the pirotechnics industry some 5 Town Halls have decided to have fireworks displays on Sunday 6th. The local ones will be Orihuela at 9.00pm and Alicante at 11.59pm. The Alicante dusplay will be from Santa Barbara Castle. It doesn't say where in Orihuela but it will be from some suitably inaccessible place so that crowds won't gather in the one place.

Just read the article and it says night of the 6th Dec which if correct that would be Sunday night not Saturday But as no public are allowed its not so bad but might be a problem for some pet owners

You are quite correct Orangepicker Sunday is of course the 6th of Dec. I am just trying to move the year on a bit faster
